CMS, shop and site builder
WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, PrestaShop, Ghost and dozens more.
Enter a domain and see its CMS or site builder, framework, server, CDN, hosting country, analytics tags and cookie banner — and exactly why we think so.
Not just the CMS: the whole stack from the page builder to the network the site lives on.
WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, PrestaShop, Ghost and dozens more.
Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, Next.js, Nuxt, Astro, Angular and others — including the version when the site publishes it.
nginx, Apache, LiteSpeed, Cloudflare, Fastly, CloudFront, Vercel, Netlify — and the country and network of the server (IP data by DB-IP).
Google Tag Manager, GA4, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Clarity and the cookie consent platform in use.
We use our own signs, written from vendors’ documentation and from observing real sites: response headers, the generator tag, file paths, cookie names, DNS records and sitemap file names. Every technology comes with a confidence level — high when signs from two or more independent groups agree, medium for one strong sign, low for a single weak one — and with the list of signs, so you can judge it yourself. We never read the visible text of the page: the word “WordPress” in an article does not make a site WordPress.
Yes, there is no sign-up and no limit on what we show. To keep the service available for everyone, the number of checks per network is limited, and a short computation runs in your browser before each check.
No. We make up to four requests: the home page, robots.txt and the sitemap, with the UpntopCheck agent and no more than two requests per second to a host. Nothing is crawled, no forms are sent.
Custom code, headless setups and sites behind strict protection leave no public signs. Some builders also hide their traces on purpose. The report then shows what is visible — server, CDN, framework, tags.
It can. A theme can mimic another platform, and a CDN can hide the origin. That is why we show confidence and evidence, and mark low-confidence results as such.
Results are not offered to search engines unless the domain is on our curated list. If you own a domain and want its saved result removed, write to us and we will delete it.
From the free DB-IP Lite database, looked up locally by the IP address of the domain. We never connect to that address.
