A lot happens before you get a message. All of it is our own work.
Tags are tracked page by page: you see which page lost which tag, and since when.
Large catalogs: a sample of every page type is checked every day, so no page goes unseen for long.
A page counts as broken only after a second failed check hours later — no false alarms at night.
Calm alerts: urgent ones at once, the rest in one digest every 15 minutes.

Do I need to install a BigCommerce app?
No. Everything on this page is checked from outside, as a shopper sees the store. No app, no API account, no store login.
Do you compare prices with my BigCommerce catalog?
No. Comparing prices and stock with the catalog works for WooCommerce and Shopify. On BigCommerce we check the storefront pages themselves.
Do you test checkout?
No. The form test never submits checkout or account forms; it runs only on a store you have confirmed, with your consent.
Will the checks slow my store down?
No. We make at most 2 requests per second, one at a time, and back off when your server asks us to.
